Gate #1 – Northwest most gate off Isela Rubalcava closest to the Baseball field.
Gate #1 is the primary entry point for students with a yellow placard and student athletes with a red placard during the morning and main exit point for the afternoon. Buses and staff may Gate #1 as an entry point as well.
Students will park in the designated area on the map according to their placard color.
Gate #2 – Is always closed.
Gate #3 – Off of Isela Rubalcava directly North of the Cafeteria.
Gate #3 will be used as an exit for students all day, and as a reentry point for students when returning from lunch. It is also an entry / exit point for staff and visitors. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FOR STUDENT DROP OFFS AT THIS GATE FOR ANY REASON.
Gate #4 – Off of Isela Rubalcava directly North of the Cafeteria.
Gate #4 will only be used by CHS Staff and visitors. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FOR STUDENT DROP OFFS AT THIS GATE FOR ANY REASON.
Gate #5 – Corner of Isela Rubalcava and South Desert.
Gate #5 will be opened by 7:30 AM and closed promptly at 8:30 AM. Anyone dropping off students after 8:30 AM will need to drop off at Gate #6 (Flagpole Gate). Parents driving East on Isela Rubalcava will enter gate #5 and drop off their student in any location where there is a sidewalk but not after the circle. Parents will then exit through Gate #7. Parents dropping off student athletes can enter here and continue to the southernmost area of the roadway and drop off their student athlete in the designated area on the map.
Gate #6 – The flagpole gate on South Desert.
Gate #6 will be opened by 7:30 AM to allow parents driving South on South Desert to enter and drop off in the circle area as directed by a CISD PD Oficer. Parents dropping off student athletes can enter here, turn left, and continue to the southernmost area of the roadway to drop off their student athlete in the designated area on the map.
Gate labeled #7, the Southeast gate by the apartments.
Gate #7 will be used as an exit for parents who enter gates #5 and #6. Entry through this gate can be made by buses, staff, or student athletes with a red placard ONLY. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FOR STUDENT DROP OFFS AT THIS GATE FOR ANY REASON.
***IT IS VERY DANGEROUS DROPPING OFF STUDENTS ON THE ROADWAY. ANY PERSON WHO DROPS OFF STUDENTS ON THE ROADWAY ON ISELA RUBALCAVA OR SOUTH DESERT WILL RECEIVE A CITATION. SIGNAGE IS CLEARLY POSTED PROHIBITING THIS DANGEROUS CONDUCT***
