Dress Code
BOTTOMS
Allowed:
- Must be worn at or above the waist
- Must fully cover undergarments
Not allowed:
- Sagging pants or shorts
- Bottoms that reveal undergarments
- Sheer or see-through bottoms worn alone
- Shorts, skirts or pants that are too short
- Tears, rips, holes or slits that expose undergarments
TOPS
Allowed:
- Must fully cover the chest, back and stomach
- Must fully cover undergarments
Not allowed:
- See-through or sheer tops
- Tops that expose undergarments
- Tops that do not fully cover the chest, back or stomach
FOOTWEAR
Allowed:
- Appropriate hard-soled shoes must be worn at all times, as campus evacuation drills/ emergencies which may require them to walk across varied terrain outside of the buiding
- Crocs or sandals must be worn with straps
Not allowed:
- Steel-toed shoes
- Slippers or house shoes
STUDENT IDs
Required Every Day!
- Must be worn at all times on campus and on the bus
- Must be visible on the upper torso
- IDs will be color-coded by the lunch you have
- Replacement IDs require a fee
FEE: $5
NOT PERMITTED ON CAMPUS
- Clothing, accessories or tattoos promoting:
- Gangs
- Racism or hate
- Alcohol, tobacco or drugs
- Weapons
- Violence
- Vulgar language or images
- Explicit content or nudity
- Bandanas, hair nets or non-religious head coverings
- Hats, caps, hoods or sunglasses worn inside buildings
- Dangling chains, belt ends or bandanas
- Pajamas (except on approved spirit days)
- Spirit days are only allowed with admin approval
Consequences for violations of dress code policy:

If a student needs to change their shirt or pants, we can provide a clean change of clothing. We will keep his or her clothing until the end of the day.

If a student refuses to change clothes, the administration will take the appropriate disciplinary action, which will include a minumum of one day in ISS
